In 1 hour train covers 120 km.

So , equivalently in 60 minutes the train covers 120 km.

So dividing both 60 min. and 120 km by 60. (because they both are equivalent )

Hence in 1 minute the train covers 2 km.

Now by same logic multiplying both sides by 45.. you get

in 45 minutes the train covers 90 km ( i.e. 45×2 )
