Circumference = 2πr = πd

Diameter = 105 cm

Circumference = 22/7 × 105 = 330 cm

Revolutions = 500

Distance = 500 × 330 = 165,000 cm

= 1.65 km

Given ,

Diameter of circle = 105 cm

So , the radius = 105/2 cm

We know that , the circumference of circle is given by

Circumference = 2πr

Thus ,

Circumference = 2 × 22/7 × 105/2

Circumference = 22 × 15

Circumference = 330 cm

Hence , the distance covered by cycle in 1 revolution of wheel is 330 cm

Now , we have to find the distance covered by cycle in 500 revolutions of wheel

Thus ,

Distance = 330 × 500

Distance = 165000 cm or 1.65 km

Hence , the distance covered by cycle in 500 revolutions of wheel is 165000 cm or 1.65 km
