Given:-

Radius of orbit = 200m

To find:-

Distance covered by satellite in one revolution.

Solution:-

As,we know that the orbit of a satellite revolving around the earth is circular in shape.

Now, One revolution of satellite = Circumference of circle .

\boxed{\sf{</strong><strong>C</strong><strong>i</strong><strong>r</strong><strong>c</strong><strong>u</strong><strong>m</strong><strong>f</strong><strong>e</strong><strong>r</strong><strong>e</strong><strong>n</strong><strong>c</strong><strong>e</strong><strong> </strong><strong>of</strong><strong> </strong><strong>circle</strong><strong> </strong><strong>=</strong><strong> </strong><strong>2</strong><strong>π</strong><strong>r</strong><strong>}}

by putting the value of r,

\implies c = 2\pi \: r

\implies c = 2 \times  \frac{314}{100}  \times 200

\implies c = 2 \times 314 \times 2

\implies c = 1256m

hence,the distance covered by satellite in one revolution is 1256 m or 1km 256 m
