Find the distance covered by the wheel of a bus in 1 000 rotations if the diameter of the wheel is 98 cm.

Answer:

Diameter of circle= 98cm

Radius of circle=49 cm = 0.49m

Circumference of circle=2 πr=2×22/7×0.49=3.08

Distance covered by one rotation=3.08m

Distance covered by 2000 rotation=3.08×2000=6160m
