Answer:

Diameter if wheel = 77cm

Distance covered in one revolution = πd

= 22/7 × 77

= 22×11

= 242 cm

Distance covered in 500 revolution =242 × × 500

= 121,000 cm

= 1210 m

= 1.21 Km [ answer ]

Answer:

d=77cm

Circumference of the wheel(c)= πd

                                                 = 22/7 x 77

                                                 = 22 x 11

                                                 =242 cm

∴The wheel covers 242cm in one revolution.

Distance covered in 500 revolutions= 242 x 500

                                                             = 121,000cm

                                                             = 1210.00m=1.21 km
