Given :

Total time taken = 20 min = 1200 secs.

Speed of the train = 72 km/h = 20 m/s.

Now,

We know that ;

 \mathsf{distance =  speed \times time}\\  \\  \mathsf{distance =20 \times 120} \\  \\  \mathsf{distance = 2400 \: metres}

Hence, the total distance travelled in metres is 2400 metres.

Answer:time taken by train = 20 minutes = 20*60=1200

Speed of train = 72km/h*5/18=20m/s

=1200/20

=24km*1000

=24000 meters

Explanation: first change 20 minusens into seconds and 72km per hour into meter per second then divide them and multliply them with 1000 for answer in meters thanks
