Hey !!!

As we know that at the origin cordinate must be (0,0) let that point name is O

just

let that this is line P_______O

Where O is origin

O cordinate (0,0)
P """"""""""""" (x,y) given

So how we can find distance of line OP so we can find the distance by using distance formula .

as we know that distance formula

OP= √(x2 - x1)² + (y2-y1)²

OP= √(0-x)² + (0-y)²

OP= 0² + x² + 2×0×x + 0² + y² +2*0×y

OP= √x² + y² and it is the distance from origin to any point
