object's distance = u = -10cm
focal length = f = -4cm
image distance=v
now by mirror formula
1/f= 1/v-1/u
1/-4 = 1/v-1/-10
-1/4=1/v+1/10
1/v=-(1/4+1/10)
1/v=-(14/40)
v=-40/14
v=-20/7

hope this help:p
