let the mid point of the points (6,8) & (2,4) be
given by M , then -
x- coordinate of M = 6+2/2 = 4
y-coordinate of M = 8+4/2 = 6
distance of point (4,6 ) to (1,2). is
= √(4-1)(4-1) + (6-2)(6-2)
= √9+16
=√25
= 5 units
given by M , then -
x- coordinate of M = 6+2/2 = 4
y-coordinate of M = 8+4/2 = 6
distance of point (4,6 ) to (1,2). is
= √(4-1)(4-1) + (6-2)(6-2)
= √9+16
=√25
= 5 units
