Distance between two points (x₁, y₁) and (x₂, y₂) is

= √[(x₂-x₁)²+(y₂-y₁)²]

Given that two points are (3, -7) and (5, -5), so distance is

= √[(5-3)²+(-5+7)²]

= √(4+4)

= √8

= 2√2

Hence distance of the point (3,-7) form the point (5,-5) is 2√2.

Using distance formula

(Y-y1)^2 + (x-x1^2) = r^2

r = root (-5+7)^2 + (5-3)^2

r = root 4+4

r = 2 root 2
