Hey mate ☺

We are given a point (-4,-7)

We need to find the distance of point from y-axis.

Distance of any point from y-axis is equal to x value of the point.

The value of x of point (-4,-7) is -4.

x=-4

For distance we will take absolute value of x

Distance of point = |-4|=4

Thus, point (-4,-7) is 4 unit left side from y-axis.
