velocity = u

height = h

horizontal range = R

time period, T = √2h/g

R = u × √2h/g

D = √ h² + R²

D = √h² + u²×2h/g

D = √ h(hg + 2u²)/g

given ;-

velocity with which projectile is moving = u

horizontal range = R

height at which it is present = h

we know,

time period of projectile is given by

T = √2h/g

and the horizontal range is given by

R= u ×T

in ΔABC

AC² = AB² + BC²

D² = h² + R²

D² = h² + u²T²

D² = h² + u² ×2h/g

D² = h² + 2u²h/g

D = √ h2 + 2u²h/g

hope it helps u ❤
