GiveN :-

  • Speed = 5 km / h.
  • Time = 30 minutes.

To FinD :-

  • Distance

FormuLa UseD :-

\underline{\boxed{\sf \:s = vt }}

We know that ,

  • s = distance
  • v = speed
  • t = time

SolutioN :-

{ \sf \:Speed(v) = 5 km / h}

 {\sf \:Time(t)=30\:minutes =  \frac{30}{60}  \: h=  \frac{1}{2}h }

{ \sf \: distance(s ) = speed(v) \times time(t)}

{ \sf \:  =  \frac{5km}{h} \times  \frac{1}{2}h  }

 {\sf \:  = 5 \: km \times  \frac{1}{2} }

{ \sf \:  = 2.5 \: km}

Therefore , distance (s) = 2.5 km when Speed (v) = 5 km / h and time (t) = 30 minutes .
