Displacement = d = ?

  • Distance = Total length covered

As, total length covered is the half of circumference. Therefore,

Distance = Half of Circumference.

   //         =  2πr / 2.

   //         =  2 x (3.14) x (5) / 2

Distance = 15.7 meters.

  • Displacement = Shortest distance.

As, the shortest distance is the diameter of the sphere. Therefore,

Displacement = Diameter of Sphere.

      //                = 2r.
