Finding the domain of any function doesn't uses formula. it's found by only condition where function is defined or undefined.
example :-
y = √(x² - 5x + 6) find domain of it ?
here you are seeing that square root function is occur.
and you know ,
square root function doesn't negative
so,. (x² - 5x + 6) ≥ 0
(x -3)(x -2) ≥ 0
x ≥ 3 and x≤ 2
e.g domain of y € [ 3 , ∞) U ( -∞, 2]
