Need to FinD :-

  • The electric field due to charge .

\red{\frak{Given}}\begin{cases}\sf The \ Charge \ is \ of \ 5\mu \ C .\\\\\sf The \ distance \ is \ 50 \ cm .\end{cases}

The distance here given is 50 cm . Converting it into SI unit we get , 0.5 m . And 5μC of charge can be written as , 5 × 10- C . And the electric field due to a charge q , and distance r is given by ,

\sf\longrightarrow E = \dfrac{1}{4\pi \epsilon_0 }\bigg(\dfrac{ q}{r^2}\bigg)\\

  • Put on the respective values ,

\\\sf\longrightarrow E =  \dfrac{1}{4\pi \epsilon_0 }\bigg( \dfrac{ 5* 10^{-6} C }{( 0.5m)^2}\bigg) \\

  • And the value of 1/4πε is 9 × 10 N C-².

\\\sf\longrightarrow E = \dfrac{ 9*10^9 \times 5 * 10^{-6} }{0.25} \\\\\\\sf\longrightarrow E = \dfrac{ 45 * 10^3}{25*10^{-2}} N C^{-1}  \\\\\\\sf\longrightarrow \underset{\blue{\sf Electric \ field  }}{\underbrace{\boxed{\pink{\frak{ E = 1.8 \times 10^5 \ N.C^{-1}    }}}}}
