Given ,

  • Charge (q) = 6 micro C or 6 × (10)^(-6) C
  • Distance (r) = 100 cm or 0.1 m

We know that ,

The electric field at point a due to point charge is given by

 \large \boxed{ \sf{E = k \frac{q}{ {(r)}^{2} } }}

Thus ,

\sf \mapsto E =  \frac{9 \times  {(10)}^{9} \times6 \times  {(10)}^{ - 6}   }{ {(10)}^{ - 1} }  \\  \\ \sf \mapsto E = 5.4 \times  {(10)}^{5}  \:  \: N/c

  \sf{  \therefore{\underline{The  \: electri c  \: field \:  is  \: 5.4 \times  {(10)}^{ 5}  \: N {c}^{ - 1} }}}
