Electric field intensity of uniformly charged spherical shell can be found out using coulomb's law.

  • Interactive force between charged particles in symmetric distribution at any distance under a non contact force can be found using Coulomb's law.
  • Electric field of such a distribution can be found out from the force using the equation,  E=F/q

1) E= 1/4πε_{0} \frac{q}{r^{2}  }

     = σ/ε_{0} \frac{R^{2} }{r^{2} }

2)E=1/4πε_{0} \frac{q}{R^{2}  }

    =σ/ε_{0}
