4 appliances consume power=4×500 = 2000w
now energy consumed=power ×time
p=2000 w , t= 10hours
=2000×10=20000wh
20000/1000kwh
=20 kwh

Time (t) = 10 h
We know,
Work done = Energy consumed.
Power = work done / time
0.50 = Energy consumed / 10
Energy consumed = 0.50 * 10 = 5 kWh
Now,
Energy consumed by four devices = 4 * 5 = 20 kWh.
