first we find out the slope of the equation
4x-8y=7
y=mx+c
here m=slope =1/2
the point are 2 and -9
so find it by the formula
Y-y=m(X-x)
Y+9=1/2(X-2)
Y+9=X/2-1
Y+10=X/2
2Y+20=x
2Y-x+20=0
it is the equation of the line
