find the equation (in slope-intercept form) of the line passing through the points with the given coordinates. (4,3) , (1,0)

siddhartharao77: y = x - 1
alvairis1995: what about this one
slope: −2, ordered pair: (−1,2)
alvairis1995: i mean this one . Graph the following equation:

(y−5)=−2(x+2)
alvairis1995: point :

(X1,y1)= (4,3)

(X2,y2)=(1,0)

slope intercept form y=mx + c

slope of two points = y2-y1/x2-x1

=0-3/1-4

=-3/-3

=1

y=mx +c

y=(1)x +c

y= x+c

substitute (X2,y2) values in the place of x,y in the equation

0=1+c

c=-1

y=mx+c

y=(1)x-1

y=x-1
