here \: y = \frac{ - 1}{3} x + 4 \\ so \: \: \: 3y = - x + 4 \\ x + 3y - 4 = 0 \\ therefore \: the \: equation \: of \: \\ the \: line \: which \: have \: to \: find \: \\ is \: \: 3x - y + k = 0................ \\ this \: line \: is \: passing \: \\ through \: \: (0 \: 8) \\ so \: \: 3(0) - 8 + k = 0 \\ k = 8................ \\ put \: the \: value \: of \: k \: in \: the \: \\ eqution \: of \: line\\ 3x - y + 8 = 0 \\ the \: \: ans \: is \: \: 3x - y + 8 = 0 \\ \\ \\
so.. the answer is ..
3x-y+8=0

hope this helps to u....
if you get ur right answer and like my ans then plzzz....
