Find the equation of circle having centre (2,-5) and passing through point (3,2).

we can find radius by finding distance between these two points
r =  \sqrt{( - 5 - 2) {}^{2} + (2 - 3) {}^{2} }  \\  =  \sqrt{49 + 1}  \\  r =  \sqrt{50}
equation of circle have centre(a,b) and radius r is given by
(x - a) {}^{2}  + (y - b) {}^{2}  =  {r}^{2}
here (a, b) =(2,-5)
and r=√50
so eqn is
(x - 2) {}^{2}  + (y + 5) {}^{2}  = 50
