Find the equation of line passing through (0,4) and parallel to the line 3x+5y+15=0.

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER
line is parallel,so
3x+5y=k................(i)
passing through (0,4)
x=0,y=4
put in eq i
3*0+5*4=k
0+20=k
k=20......put in eq i
We get,
3x+5y= 20 .......ans

3x +5y+15 =0
5y= -3x-15
y = -3/5 x - 15/5
y = -3/5y -3
so m = -3/5
line are parallel so m = -3/5
equation of line become y -y¹ =m (x-x¹)
y-4= -3/5 (x-0)
5y -20 =-3x
3x+5y-20=0
