mutiplying equation no. 1 by 4
16x + 12 y = 4 ------(3)

mutplying equation no.2 by 3
15x + 12y = 6 -------(4)

subtracting equation no. 3 from 4

15x + 12y = 6
- 16x + 12y = 4

x = -2

put x=-2 in equation no.1
4 × -2 +3y = 1
-8 +3y = 1
3y = 9
y =3

required equation is
