Question :-

find the equation of the line passing through the point (2,3) and (-3,1) using determinant.

Answer :-

Here ,

x1 = 2 y1 = 3

x2 = -3 y2 = 1

Equation of the line is

x (y1 - y2) - y (x1 -x2)

\implies the \: equation \: is \:x(3-1)-y(2-(-3)) = 0

\implies 2x - 5y = 0
