let line be x/a + y/b = 1 , so, it's intercepts are a and b.

ab=-6 and a+b=1

So, by solving we get a=3 and b=-2.

So line is x/3-y/2=1

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum of intercepts = 1

Product of intercepts = -6

The intercepts are -2,3 respectively.

So, equation is x/-2 +y/3 = 1⇒3x-2y+6=0
