Find the equation of the lines,which cut-off intercepts on the axes whose sum and product are 1 and -6 respectively

x/(-2). +y/(3). =1 ,also solve quad eqn x^2 -x -6 for intercepts

Sum of intercepts  = 1
Product of intercepts  = -6
The intercepts are -2,3 respectively.
So, equation is x/-2 +y/3 = 1⇒3x-2y+6=0
