7y=3x-12

y=3/7x-12/7

so equation of parallel line

y=3/7x+c

passes (6,4)

4=3/7*4+c

c=4-12/7=1/7( 28-12)=16/7

So eqn is

y=3/7x+16/7

7y=3x+16
