Find the equation of the straight line parallel to x axis and passing through (3,-2)

Hey mate

As we know that if a line is parallel to x-axis it means slope of the line is zero

i.e. slope (m)=0

also equation of line passing through (x',y') and having slope m is given by

y-y'=m(x-x')

=> y-(-2)= 0(x-3). | (x',y')=(3,-2)

=> y+2= 0

This is the required equation of line.
