Find the equation of the tangent line to the curve y = x^2 at x = 1.

slope of tangent

 \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2x

at X = 1

dy /dx = 2

put X = 1 in curve equation and get y = 1

then equation of tangent by two point form .

2x -y -1 = 0
