The equations of such two lines are

  • x = 5
  • x = -5

Both the lines cut the x-axis at a distance of 5 units from the y-axis.

So both the lines have x-intercepts.

Both the lines are equally inclined to the Axis. The inclination of both lines is 90°.

somi173: There are no Particular steps. Equation of y-axis is "x=0" & equation of any line parallel to y-axis is "x=a". "a" is a positive number if the line is on the ride side of y-axis and negative if the line is on the Left side
