We can write it as

Let  \frac{5}{6} =\frac{?}{30}

clearly shows  6×5 = 30

Now multiply the numerator by 5 also

\frac{5}{6}= \frac{5 \times5}{5\times 6}

\frac{5}{6}=\frac{25}{30}

Hence the  the equivalent fraction of 5/6 having denominator 30 is 25/30
