Find the equivalent masses of a metal and sulphur if 3.24g of the metal form 3.48 g of it's oxide and 3.72 g of the sulphide

weight of metal= 3.24g

weight of metal oxide= 3.48g

weight of oxygen= 0.24g

equivalent weight of metal= 3.24×8/0.24 =108

similarly, equivalent weight of sulphur = 0.48×108/3.24= 16
