For upper half
R1 and R2 are in series. Their resultant is 6 Ω.
Now, 6 Ω is in parellel with R₃. Their resultant is 2 Ω.
2 Ω is in series with R₄. Their resultant is 5 Ω
Along AB
R = 5 Ω
For lower half
Resultant resistance = 5 Ω
[∵ It is same as that of upper half]
Equivalent resistance along AB = (1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5)−¹
= 5/3 Ω
