i cannot send the diagram sorry about that.

so if u see carefully and bring down the 4 ohm and 8 ohm resistance down like given below:-

         /----|---\

   5 ohm |     10 ohm

----/----4 ohm-----\-------

    \          |          /

      \    3 ohm  /

     4 ohm     8 ohm

         \--------/

so it forms a wheatstone bridge which is balanced

5/4=10/8

5/4=5/4

so resistance in 3 ohm resistor in middle will become zero since no current will pass through it

now, 4 ohm and 8 ohm in series in most below line

4+8= 12 ohm    -------1

in above line, 5 and 10 ohm in series so, 5+10=15 ohm    --------2

in middle line one single 4 ohm resistance ---------3

now 1, 2 , 3 are in parallel with each other

so equivalent resistance,

1/Rnet=1/12+1/15+1/4

1/Rnet=5+4+15/60

1/Rnet=24/60

1/Rnet=4/10

Rnet=10/4

Rnet=2.5 ohm

hope this helps and u understand well :)

any problem in understanding just put in comments
