Given :-

{R}_{1} = 12   \:  \:  \: Ohm

 {R}_{2} = 15 \:  \:  Ohm

 {R}_{3} = 5 \: ohm

Now as per combination in Series we know a formula i.e.

{R}_{S} = {R}_{1} \: + {R}_{2} \: + {R}_{3}

Rs = (12 + 15 + 5) Ohm

Rs = 32 Ohm

More information :

For Resistance in Parallel we use

1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2 +...... + 1/Rn

As know that

R = V/I

It means Resistance is inversely proportional to the Current and directly proportional to the Voltage.

Dimensional Formula of Resistance

R = [L²T-³A-²]

It is very useful while dealing with high voltage and high current in a Circuit.
