resistance of top-left part = 2R

then resistance of the part adjacent to it = 2R/3

now resistance of the top part = 5R/3

similarly the resistance of the down part will be 5R/3

now, top part, middle part and down part are in parallel combination

Then their equivalent resistance = 1/(5R/3) + R + 1/(5R/3)

= 11/5R

so 11/5R is the equivalent resistance
