 \large \: Answer: 2ohm

Procedure

  • There is symmetry at vertical line of symmetry so current will flow same on all symmetric resistarshence
  • the upper and lower 2 ohm resistors can be separated from centerwhich make the circuit having 3 wires in parallel and resistance
  • Than resistance of lower and upper wire is 8 ohm and that of center wire is 4 ohm

Total resistance

 \frac{1}{r}  =  \frac{1}{8}  +  \frac{1}{8}  +  \frac{1}{4}

 \large \frac{1}{r}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \rightrightarrows \: r = 2ohm
