bro I don't understand post the question correctly you haven't tell that it is in series or in parallel tell me if it is in series then equivalent resistance is 2+2+2+2= 8 ohm

if it is in parallel = 1/R = 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 = 1* 2 * 2 * 2 *2 / 2+ 2 + 2 + 2 = 16/8 = 2 ohm
