Find the equivalent resistance between the points P and Q in the given circuit and current through the resistance of 25 Ohm. Please explain why it is 10 Ohm in answer ?

series connection adds resistance r = r1 + r2
in parallel 1/r = 1/r1 + 1/ r2
so 14 and 6 are in series which means they add to be 20 ohms
now above 20 is parallel to given 20 = 20 /2 = 10 ohms
now above 10 is series with 10 given so 20 ohms
again 20 and 20 are parallel = 10 ohms***

now 10 and 25 are series = 35 ohms
i = v/r = 70/35 = 2 A
