For two resistors in parellel arrangement
Equivalent resistance = (R₁ × R₂) / (R₁ + R₂)
= (10⁶ Ω × 1 Ω) / (10⁶ Ω + 1 Ω)
≈ (10⁶ / 10⁶) Ω …………[∵ 10⁶ Ω >>> 1 Ω]
≈ 1 Ω
Equivalent resistance is approximately 1 Ω
Equivalent resistance = (R₁ × R₂) / (R₁ + R₂)
= (10⁶ Ω × 1 Ω) / (10⁶ Ω + 1 Ω)
≈ (10⁶ / 10⁶) Ω …………[∵ 10⁶ Ω >>> 1 Ω]
≈ 1 Ω
Equivalent resistance is approximately 1 Ω

Sorry but the EQ. Resistance will be less than one
