- According To figure , If we stretch the wire A and B then , it covert into a rectangular field with three parallel lines
- Since the equivalent of first line is Re = R1 + R2
- Re = 10 + 5 = 15 ohm also equivalent resistance of third line be Rs = R4 + R5
- Rs = 10 + 5 = 15 ohm
- The Resistance of middle line be R3 = 15 ohm
- Since these three lines are parallel then total resistance = 1/Rt = 1/Re + 1/Rs +1/R3
- 1/Rt = 1/15 + 1/15 + 1/15
- 1/Rt = 3/15
- 1/Rt = 1/5
- Rt = 5 ohm
