SOLUTION

Area of square field = ( side )²

= ( side )² = 40000

= side = √40000

= side = 200

So, side of square field is 200 m

NOW,

Perimeter of square field = 4 × side

= (4 × 200)m

= 800 m

So, Perimeter of square field is 800 m

Then, cost of per metre = rs 45

So, total cost of expenditure of

putting a barbed wire =

= rs ( 45 × 800 )

= rs 36000

So, total cost of putting the barbed wire

is rs 36000.
