Hey Friend ☺

Let the ' a ' be the expression subtracted
So we get equation,

( 4x + 6xy - 2y ) - a = ( 12x - 3xy + 4 )

》a = ( 4x + 6xy - 2y ) - ( 12x - 3xy + 4 )

》a = 4x + 6xy - 2y - 12x + 3xy - 4

》a = - 8x + 9xy - 2y - 4

So ( - 8x + 9xy - 2y - 4 ) should be subtracted from ( 4x + 6xy - 2y ) to get ( 12x - 3xy + 4 )

Hope it helps you ..!!
