In Fiji the electoral system is such that the view of one indigenous Fiji has more value that the vote of an Indian Fijian
Hence it is not a fair election
therefore we can say that Fiji cannot be called a democratic

Fiji calls itself a democratic nation but it is in fact not

1. Fiji has designed its election system in a different way
2. It has been designed such that the vote of an indigenous Fiji has more value then an Indian Fiji.
3. This makes the election less democratic as it violates the ‘one vote, one value’ rule for an election to be democratic.
