find the find the number of solution of the following pair of linear equation X + 2 Y - 8 is equal to zero and second equation is 2 x + 4 Y = 16


abhi1947: both the equations are same by substituting either of x or y with 2 and 3 it can be balanced
bhargav32: yes what I said if we multiply with 2 upper and lower equation will become same then there will be no solution because in order to find solution Atleast one of variable should be different so everything will be cancelled and no solution occurs

no solution because as we multiply with2 it will cancel each other and no solution for it
