find the first two terms of the sequence tn=3n-4

Hi ,

Given sequence tn = 3n - 4

i ) if n = 1 ,

First term = t1 = 3 × 1 - 4

= 3 - 4

t1 = - 1

ii ) if n = 2 ,

Second terms = t2 = 3 × 2 - 4

= 6 - 4

t2 = 2

Therefore ,

Required two terms are -1 , 2

Tn = 3N -4

T1 = 3 × 1 -4 = 3-4

=> -1

And,

T2 = 3 × 2 -4

=> 6-4

=> 2.



Hence,


First two terms are -1 and 2.
