Given that ,

  • Radius of curvature of convex mirror = 30 cm

We know that , The relation between focal length and radius of curvature is given by

 \star \:  \:  \sf  \fbox{r = 2f}

Thus ,

\Rightarrow \sf 30 = 2f \\  \\ \Rightarrow \sf f =  \frac{30}{2}  \\  \\ \Rightarrow \sf </p><p>f= 15 \:  \: cm</p><p>

 \therefore  \bold{\sf \underline{The \:  focal  \: length  \: is  \: 15  \: cm}}

\huge\bold{\mathtt{ANSWER}}

Radius of curvature = 30 cm

☯ As we know , Radius of curvature is twice the focal length .

Now , \sf \:\:\:{\underline{\red{Radius\:of\:curvature\:=\: 2 \times Focal\:length}}}

\sf \:\:\:{\mathtt{\red{Focal\:length\:=\: \dfrac{Radius\:of\:curvature}{2}}}}

\sf \:\:\:{\mathtt{\red{Focal\:length\:=\: \dfrac{30}{2}}}}

\sf \:\:\:{\underline{\red{Focal\:length\:=\: 15\:cm\:or\:0.15\:m}}}
