A concave mirror of focal length 5 cm

To Draw : Ray diagrams when object is at i)5cm ii)10cm iii)15cm in front of mirror

Solution :

• Concave mirror is also known as converging mirror

1) When object is at 5 cm i.e. at the focus of mirror

Real image of dimnished size will be formed at infinity

2) When object is at 10 cm i.e. At 2F

of the mirror

Real & inverted image of same size will be formed at 2F

3) When object is at 15 cm i.e. Beyond 2F of the mirror

Real & inverted image of smaller size will be formed between 2F&F of the mirror
